At last: Long-awaited mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG Mobile) officially released on Android and iOS platforms

Last year, the project broke many records, including, the leader in Steam by the number of active players. To consolidate success, PUBG Corp. decided to release the game for mobile devices.
For the release of the mobile version of PUBG Corp. has teamed up with the Chinese company Tencent, which produced many popular games on the territory of China, such as League of Legends, CrossFire and the popular mobile MOBA Arena of Valor.
The game was launched as beta testing in Canada on March 15. During the tests, developers received positive feedback from the testers, and PUBG Corp. decided to release the game on March 19. Now all the forces of Tencent and PUBG Corp. focused on optimizing the game.
Earlier PUBG Mobile could have been played only by residents of China, but last week the game appeared in the Canadian section of Google Play, just after it outкгт its main competitor, a mobile version of Fortnite Battle Royale.
Requirements for the game:
- For the Android version, the creators recommend a minimum of 2 GB of RAM and a version from 5.1.1 or higher.
- IOS version requires a smartphone or tablet with iOS 9.0 or higher.
The developers note that their primary goal is to meet the high demands of players and critics. In PUBG Corp. are confident that the mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will change the perception of people about mobile games.
The network shooter Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, despite its phenomenal success, has not received a cinematic trailer, but the mobile version with the support of megacorporation Tencent has acquired a powerful video with live actors.
